Each article is reviewed by the editor. The editor will attempt to make use of the editorial committee by submitting articles to members of the committee with expertise related to the content of a submitted article. Reasons for rejecting articles may include: topic is not of interest to the profession; article is only of interest to a few member of the association; topic is interesting but already has been thoroughly discussed in the literature; topic is of local rather than state-wide interest; discussion is too vague and is too general; article is poorly written. In some instances, an article may be rejected but the author is invited to revise and resubmit it. Articles accepted are subject to editing to conform to the Journal format.
