We are having our Professional Development Stipends this year. This budget was approved again at our last legislative council meeting in April. That’s right—you may be the lucky winner! Here’s how this stipend opportunity works: Any professional who pre-registers by October 1, 2003, and is a five year member or more of IAHPERD, is eligible for a random drawing for $100.00 at the Keynote luncheon on Sunday, October 26th, with Jean Blaydes Madigan! Twenty-five professionals will be eligible for $100.00 to use for attending professional conventions at the State, District (Duluth, MN)or National (New Orleans) level. In addition, we will be awarding 10 professionals $50.00 who pre-register before the same deadline and have less than five years membership in IAHPERD. You must be present at the drawing Sunday Afternoon to be awarded! That is right—35 people will walk away from this convention with a professional development stipend! Be a part of this exciting time! Get yourself registered as soon as possible! You may be attending FREE! This opportunity is well worth the wait after an incredible weekend of visiting with friends and learning about new educational opportunities for the future from our awesome speakers and presenters – “it is icing on the cake”!
Registration has been set for $65.00 if your register before October 1, 2003. After 2003, registration late fee is set for $80.00. These registration fees will include your convention registration fee, all meals, special presenters and speakers and convention packet materials.
